"Mount Carmel Kindergarten is one of St Albans' oldest and most popular nursery schools and was established by Lucia and Franco Federici in 1985. It runs from two premises in Sandpit Lane, Kinder Lodge at 100A Sandpit Lane and based on the playing fields and Sandpit House at 60a Sandpit Lane near the traffic lights. Each nursery is purpose built and features four distinct learning rooms and large and inspiring outdoor gardens. Our unique curriculam incorperates a daily routine which focuses on preparing children for school and building secure relationships with their teachers and friends. We accept children in the September before their third birthday."
