This is an outstanding opportunity to gain administration experience within two departments in one of Oxford’s most reputable colleges. This would suit someone at the outset of their career who is keen to learn the operational requirements of both human resources and a busy College Office. The role is busy and varied and will include dealing with routine queries, providing a full administration service across the student and employee life cycle and maintaining our databases. About you The successful candidate will have good administration skills, be methodical in their approach to work, have strong attention to detail and be highly organised. This is a dual role reporting to the HR Manager and Senior Academic Officer and the appointee will work closely with other members of the College’s professional and domestic staff, heads of departments and senior College Officers. Full training will be provided. Your excellent interpersonal and communication skills and ability to work to tight deadlines will enable you to build positive work relationships with all stakeholders and ensure that these two important Departments remain a trusted and approachable service for all staff and students. The ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality is essential. Excellent IT skills including the full Microsoft Office suite and customer skills are essential as is the ability to communicate well over the telephone, video calls and in writing. About us Our College is located in Queen’s Lane in beautiful surroundings just off the High Street and close to the river in Oxford with its historic charm.
