We are currently recruiting for a Temporary Payroll and Onboarding Administrator for a centrally based Oxford University Department. The position is set to commence as soon as possible and will be full-time for an initial duration of 12 weeks. As the first point of contact for inquiries, you'll adeptly handle questions related to payroll administration, HR operations, and onboarding processes. Your role extends to providing efficient administrative support within the department’s HR team, managing payroll and operations mailboxes, implementing University HR policies, and ensuring accurate completion of monthly payroll changes. Upholding GDPR and Information Security policies, you'll obtain necessary authorities for payroll tasks, conduct new starter checks, and maintain confidential personnel files Essential criteria for success in this role include prior experience with the PeopleXD (HR System), effective communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and a solid understanding of data protection and information security.
