As Head of Student Experience, you will be responsible for ensuring that we consistently improve both the engagement and satisfaction of our Professional Services students. You will be working within our Service Industries area - Animal care, land based, hair & beauty and early years. We're looking for somebody experienced in implementing strategy, policy and procedures that guarantee our students go on to do great things, whether that's moving on to HE or making an impact in industry. You'll manage a close-knit team of personal tutors and student mentors, utilising software and interpreting data to drive improvement in both learner outcomes and satisfaction You'll also frequently liaise with Learner Recruitment and the SEND/ALS teams while also supporting the Academy Director to integrate an outstanding programme. Day-to-day, you will: • Develop and maintain personal development opportunities and student behaviours • Improve outcomes for all students including attendance and behaviour • Increase the range of SHAPE activities to allow all students to participate • Improve participation and satisfaction rates in college-wide surveys • Improve the positive destinations for students including internal progression • Champion our single-minded commitment to putting students first • Exemplify our values of inclusivity, diversity and celebrating achievement After your first year with us, success in this role would look like: • Increased attendance to a minimum of 90%, Including Maths and English Attendance • Effectively led on the management and delivery of the tutorial programme within the academy • Supported the delivery of value for money through the curriculum planning, business planning and performance review process We welcome all applicants who believe they would be a good fit.
