Job Description
Do you have a natural flair for achieving a high standard of cleanliness and take pride in your work? Are you confident to work independently, taking ownership for your areas of responsibility? If so, we would like to hear from you. Located in Stratton on the Fosse, our School includes a variety of buildings of differing size and age set in beautiful surroundings. You will be joining a Domestic Services Team who are responsible for cleaning our School, which includes residential accommodation for our pupils and communal areas and bathrooms. This is a physical job that involves lifting and carrying of cleaning appliances such as vacuum cleaners and mops and buckets as well as using other cleaning apparatus as instructed. When cleaning you will be vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, emptying bins, cleaning toilets, dusting surfaces, and dealing with other tasks as required. As part of your role, you will ensure all chemicals are used and stored correctly according to COSHH regulations full training will be given. Our buildings are located over several floors and the work will, in some areas, require climbing flights of stairs.
