As a vital member of our apprenticeship team you will be involved in the training and assessing of both the practical and theoretical requirements of the Plumbing curriculum. This will include ensuring all preparation and training sessions comply with College quality systems and qualification guidelines. In addition you will assist in the recruitment, selection, interviewing, induction and enrolment of candidates as well as undertaking occasional on-site assessments when required. You will need a Level 3 vocational qualification in Plumbing and be qualified to TAQA or equivalent. You will need to have had practical experience of working in an industrial setting as well as managing a caseload of learners. You will have the enthusiasm to communicate a real passion for your subject and will be a highly motivated and organised individual with the ability to work effectively without supervision. A teaching qualification, or willingness to work towards one, is also essential.
